A Framework for the Ethical Analysis of Corporate Political Activity in China

Compared with the Western Countries, there are more corporate political actions of Chinas enterprises. However, due to lack of the necessary regulatory and institutional constraints, the corporate political action of Chinese enterprises in a state of laissez-faire, both normative and non-standard intertwined. This paper suggests a framework for the ethical analysis of corporate political actions based on the Garrett’s principle of proportionality and the three traditional approaches to ethics and define a reasonable range for the political action of Chinas enterprises.
