Analysis on the Component and Classification of IT Strategy and Factors of IT Strategy Selection in the Third-Party Logistics Firms

As an important component of TPL business strategy, IT strategy plays an important role in increase enterprise performance. Three constructs of IT strategy are analyzed, and then classifications of IT strategy in TPL firms –independent IT strategy, supportive IT strategy and integrated IT strategy, are analyzed. Business strategy of TPL firms and types of TPL firms, the two factors which should be considered in selection of IT strategy in TPL firms are proposed and analyzed.
