The Analysis of Critical Path which Affect the IT Application Maturity

摘要：

Based on measuring IT application maturity (ITAM), management institutional capability (MIC) and process management capability (PMC) of 123 enterprises, this paper applies the econometrical analysis tools to study the influence which enterprise MIC and PMC have on the enterprise ITAM. The study found that both of them have a significant impact on ITAM. PMC not only has direct influence on ITAM, but also has indirect influence on ITAM through MIC, and this influence is proved to be significant. Therefore, enterprises should pay more attention on PMC building to improve ITAM. With the improvement of PMC, more IT demand will be aroused. And the realization of the IT demand could reduce the management cost, so as to improve the enterprises performance.
