Research and Design of ERP Comprehensive Practical Teaching System for Applied Talents Major in Economics and Management
Enhancing the practical teaching is now getting more and more attention in universities for its impact of making up for the deficiency of traditional higher education based on theoretical teaching. ERP comprehensive practical teaching system (ERP-CPTS), which the paper suggests strongly, is a very effective approach to improve the overall competency of students major in economics and management. The research is closely combined with the reality of twelve majors related to economics and management in Beijing normal university Zhuhai (BNUZH). Firstly, the paper discusses the teaching philosophies of ERP-CPTS, i.e. persisting in result-oriented principle and constructivism learning theory. Then according to the cultivation objectives of applied talents major in economics and management, objectives of ERP-CPTS are presented. Centering on these objectives, the paper elaborates the fundamental contents of the system, including five aspects, i.e. enlightenment learning through club activities, theory learning focusing on ERP principles, perceptual operation experience through real sand table simulation, rational operation experience through electronic sand table simulation and practical training through ERP-U8 software platform. The teaching methodologies and evaluation methods are also studied in this paper.
