An Empirical Study of the Impact of ERP Implementation on Firm Performance

摘要：

ERP can theoretically improve firm performance. Based on Chinese listed companies in manufacturing industry, We defined the variable of performance change of ERP adopters and the period over which to measure performance change,the period is five years including two-year implementation period and three–year post-implementation period.We use T-statisticas and Wilcoxon signed-rank test to prove this relationship.The results are the significantly positive improvements of ROA and ROS during the post-implementation period, not statistically during the implementation period. and mixed during the implementation and combined period.
