An Empirical Study on the Relationship between the Development of Service Industry and Per Capita Income Growth in Hubei Province

摘要：

The tendency of service industry development is basically the same with the growth of residents per capita income in Hubei province, and this shows that there is the close relationship between the development of service industry and per capita income.The article makes a detailed analysis and tests empirically the relationship by analyzing the data of 1981-2008, and using Cointegration Test, Granger Causality Test and Impulse Responses Function Test. The results show that there is a stable equilibrium relationship between the development of service industry and per capita income growth in Hubei province, and that the evelopment of service industry is one-way granger cause of per capita income growth, the evelopment of service industry has greater impact on per capita income growth than that of per capita income growth on the development of service industry.
