Research on Types of Railway Container Hub Logistics System Based on the Clustering Analysis Method
According to the layout structure, function properties, and development characteristics of railway logistics centers, the paper puts forward the concept of RCHLS (Railway Container Hub Logistics System). Then it divides the RCHLS into five types, which are the comprehensive international-container-port RCHLS, the domestic sea-rail intermodal transport RCHLS, the domestic land-water combined transport RCHLS, the inland-port transferring RCHLS and the frontier-hinterland RCHLS respectively. The paper uses the clustering method to validate the type classification of RCHLS. The result of clustering demonstrates that the RCHLS classification is correct. These benefit for positioning and development of railway logistics centers.
