STUDY OF SAFETY REACTION CHARACTERISTIC FOR NEPE PROPELLANT UNDER EXCEPTIONAL ENVIRONMENT
For different NEPE propeliant size, Cook-off test、 bullet impact test and Steven test were carried out in order to study reaction law and effect mechanism. Temperature changing processes of different positions in the samples were measured by thermocouples, and the reaction shock wave pressure of NEPE propeliant was gained by PCB pressure gauges, and impact ignition process was analyzed by high-speed motion pictures, pressure change was measured by Manganin pressure gauges. The results of the tests initially show that the reaction degree for smaller size propeliant is slightly higher than larger one in cook-off test, and the reaction degree for different size propeliant is burning under impact.
