A COUNTER-MASS PROPELLING LAUNCHER WITH HIGH MUZZLE VELOCITY AND ITS SHOOTING SECURITY ANALYSIS
A counter-mass propelling launcher is introduced, which caliber is 203 mm and initial velocity of 90 kg projectile is more than 970 m/s. The security is a fatal matter to the development of counter-mass propelling launcher. The physics model and two-phase flow ballistic trajectory mode applied to countermass propelling launcher are constituted in this paper, and state distribution characters of the flow field in the barrel. Effects of charge configuration design on shooting process are simulated under the settled inner-ballistic design. The rationality of charge configuration design is analyzed based on the two-phase flow ballistic trajectory model. The analysis result indicates that the whole charge bed ignition is comparatively uniform because its charge configuration design is reasonable, thus the squeeze and accumulation of charge mass are decelerated, and therefore the design demand of security can be met.
