A METHOD OF GENERATING PITCH UP TRAJECTORY BASED ON VIRTUAL TARGET GUIDANCE LAW
The pitch up trajectory is the high parabolic trajectory. The long range interceptor missile will be important for future air defense. Research indicates that high parabolic trajectory can enhance missile range. So a method of generating high parabolic trajectory based on virtual target guidance law is proposed in this paper. The proposed method is formulated and its effectiveness demonstrated by two test simulations. The simulation results show that missile can flight on high parabolic trajectory with good characteristics using virtual target guidance law. The proposed method corresponds with the actual needs and has a strong engineering application.
