MODELING, SIMULATION AND ANALYSIS OF ESTIMATION OF FLIGHT STATE FOR GUIDED PROJECTILES
To improve the accuracy of guidance and control for various types of guided projectiles, it is necessary to provide relatively precise control parameters for control system of projectiles. Therefore, how to obtain a better estimation of flight state for guided projectiles by means of Kalman filtering is discussed in this paper. This paper focuses on a type of finstabilized projectile with low rolling speed and develops an extended point-mass trajectory model, based on which both the motion and measurement equation are established with the assumption of radar detection system. The application characteristics of Extended Kalman Filtering (EKF) and Linearized Kalman Filtering (LKF) are analyzed. Finally, an improved LKF is proposed, by using which the online computation burden is reduced and the precision of Kalman filtering is improved.
