APPLICATION ANALYSIS OF OPTIMAL GUIDANCE LAW WITH IMPACT ANGLE CONSTRAINT

Requirements for penetrating underground targets, particularly with respect to the capability to engage target and achieve precision vertical attack even fly-over-top attack efficiently, have prompted the research of the optimal guidance law with impact attitude angle constraint. For application sake, the missile-target line of sight angular rate was estimated using geometric relation, and the calculation for time to go was detailed for simplification. The numerical simulation results validate the feasibility of this proposed algorithm, and all of the terminal velocity, acceleration and airframe attitudes should be taken into account.
