AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS ANALYSIS AND STUDY FOR AREA-CHANGING AND DAMP-INCREASING RANGE CORRECTION SYSTEM

To improve the precision of the projectile fired, one-dimension trajectory correction device of changing damp-increasing affection depended on controlling the damper to open variable area was researched. And carried out an analysis of the change and the influence that caused by drag coefficient, lift coefficient with angle-of-attack and wind speed under different area. The mathematical model was proposed between increased drag coefficient and variable area opened by the damper. The mathematical expression of increased drag coefficient in repeated remediation was also deduced. Aiming at a certain type of projectiles, the influence of aerodynamic characteristics such as the drag, the lift, the moment, et al caused by opening variable area was researched with the theory of numerical analysis and simulation experiment. By researching aerodynamic characteristics of the projectile fixed this device would promoted the further design of damp-increasing range correction system.
