INTERFERENCE FLOW FIELD OF SUPERSONIC CLUSTER MUNITION DISPENSING

By combining the wind tunnel experiment with the numerical simulation method, the aerodynamic characteristic of the interference flow field while the supersonic cluster munition dispersing is studied. Comparing the results of the experiment and the numerical simulation, it is found that the flow characteristics can be simulated in detail by the method of Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations, and AUSM+ discretization scheme. By exploring the flow field structure and its flow mechanism under specific condition, it is discovered that the pressure distribution on the surface of the munition is unstable because of the shock-shock disturbance, and longitudinal disturbances arde varied with the attack angles of the submuniton. The results in this paper can be used to carry further researches on the flow field principles of the separation interference about the cluster munition dispensing.
