APPLICATION OF PVDF SENSOR TO UNDERWATER EXPLOSIVE SHOCK WAVE MEASUREMENT AT CLOSE-FIELD
This article presents the basic principle of PVDf piezoelectric film sensor and the characteristics of test on shock wave pressure at close-field of underwater explosion. Experiment is designed to validate the feasibility of PVDF sensors which measures shock wave pressure. The results show that PVDF sensor takes on the merits of quick response, high sensitivity, wide geodesic scope and antidisturbance. Wave sections of high Signal-to-Noise ratio are gained, which can help to deduce convincible peak pressure of shock wave. Pressure attenuation process and section curves at near-field of shock wave could be gained if shock intension is below 4 GPa. This result of PVDF sensor accords with that of optics test.
