THE NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE LINEAR SHAPED CHARGE JET FORMATION AND THE PENETRATION THROUGH THE TARGET

The research about the process of the linear shaped charge jet formation have important meaning for understanding accurately the theory of jet penetrating the target. In this paper, adopted explicit dynamic analyzing program LS-DYNA basing on finite element to simulate the process of the linear shaped charge jet formation and the penetration through the target, base on the characteristic of the linear shaped charge structure and the mechanisms of jet penetrating the target. Adopted ALE(Arbitrary Lagrange Euler)arithmetic to acquire numerical simulation results. By analyzing, the simulation result that the linear shaped charge jet formation is basically accordant by contrasting the physical phenomenon and discipline. At one time, the result that the target be damaged is basically same by contrasting the result of the trial. The simulation model and method that the linear shaped charge jet formation and the penetration through the target are proved to be reasonable and feasible.
