LASER DETECTION AND KEY TECHNOLOGIES FOR LASER PROXIMITY FUZE

The development of laser technology and the applications in fuze technology have been introduced. The prospect and the limitation of the applications of laser in fuze technology have been pointed out, besides the adaptation of researches. Based on the characteristics of the battlefield confrontation, the application and the experiment of mortar fuze, HEAt fore-stage fuze, APP fuze, aerial bomb fuze and cargo fuze are processed. The combination of laser and fuze technology will increase the detection capability of fuze and improve the ability of conventional munitions destruction, also add a new vitality to the fuze technology.
