DECELERATION-TIME MEASURED PROJECTILE PENETRATION TENDENCY IN QUALITATIVELY DIFFERENT TERMINAL BALLISTICS PROCESSES
The objective of this work is setups and technology for experimental study terminal ballistics parameters with containing gauges projectiles. New sure methods and systems for supporting reliable uninterrupted electrical connection between gauge and recorder during complete time in penetration processes are shown. Some of them as most important part of terminal ballistics accelerometer measuring technologies are described. New possibilities for obtain experimental data and any practical results of investigation with application those systems in velocities range from 100 m/s to 1500 tn/s and for different targets materials are presented. Deceleration histories were recorded using special kind of terminal ballistics accelerometers measuring technology with application piezo-ceramic high-G and high-frequency accelerometer. The characteristic regularity of erosion metal rods deceleration histories in full time penetration processes firstly experimentally determined for realized conditions.
