A STUDY ON PENETRATING FEATURES OF TANDEM CHARGES TO CONCRETE TARGET BY EXPERIMENT AND SIMULATION
(0) In this paper, tandem charges having different material and structure parameters were designed, and their penetrating features to concrete were studied by experiments. Lots of experiments data obtained were helpful to future anti-concrete ammunition design. And in the paper the jets formations were simulated. The tandem charges produced jetting projectile which shape was between jet and EFP, and having good penetrating features to concrete. Applying tandem charges to assault concrete, we can obtain deep penetration and big diameter hole.
