DIP ANGLE EFFECT ON THE IMPACT OF POLYBUTYLENE RUBBER COMPOSITE TARGET RESISTANCE TO JET PENETRATION
At present, there is not the study on the operational principle of the rubber base composite resistance to jet penetration, but the research is important for the evolution of HEAA (high explosive anti-armor) and the compound target, so the research on this field has important. This paper studies the dip angle effect on the impact of polybutylene rubber composite target resistance to jet penetration by number simulation, X-ray imaging, DOP experiments and analysis of the relationship of energy loss, DOP and mass efficiency with the dip angle. This paper presents the results of the penetration performance of the composite target at difference dip angle. It shows that the dip angle affects the protection ability of the polybutylene rubber composite target seriously and the composite target excellent anti-penetration properties. The performance of the polybutylene rubber resistance to jet penetration is superior,so the polybutylene rubber can be used as a new type of protective armor material.
