History and Outlook of Industrial Inkjet Printing

摘要：

The success stories of inkjet printing and laser technology have many similarities. The laser theory was established by Einstein as early as 1917, and it took almost 50 years until the first laser was demonstrated in action. In the following two decades the laser was used mainly as research tool and since the 1980ies it became an indispensable tool throughout industry and everyday life.
