Print Color Control and Quality Standardization Measuring System
This paper builds a measuring system of print color control and quality standardization. The system uses the spectrophotometer to capture the spectral reflectance information from self-designed control strip, and establishes the relationship between spectral reflectance information and chroma, chroma and density, density and dot gain. Based on the ISO 12647 standard, the system evaluates the printed production with characteristic attributes such as chroma of process color, solid density, overprint density, color difference and dot gain, and instructs the print production by CTP compensation curves fitted by least square method. The system also provides the trend analysis reports, comparison reports, statistical analysis reports, and ISO evaluation report between a number of measurement data for printing manufacturers to evaluate and analyze.
