Color Estimation Method of Rouge Applied to Lip Based on Optical Properties
The present paper proposes a method for estimating the surface-spectral reflectance of rouge applied to the human lip (rouge on lip). The estimation method is based on the Kubelka-Munk (K-M) theory 1, 2. After deriving the optical coefficients of rouge, we determine the optical property of rouge with some newly proposed parameters calculated using optical coefficients. We also develop an estimation equation for the two-layer model by combining the optical properties of rouge. Lastly, we confirm the validity of the proposed method experimentally by comparing the estimated reflectance of rouge on lip to direct measurements.
