Operations Modeling and Analysis of Commercial Print Services
In this paper we present a holistic, model-based approach that analyzes the operation and management of print manufacturing as an integrated system formed by networked computing and physical components, accounting for the performance, efficiency, and stability as organic system attributes. We describe our operations modeling framework, and path to policy design and analysis that can provide operational level assistance in the ever-changing dynamics of the production floor, and contribute to providing automated digital commercial print solution.
