Quality Assessment Method of Halftone Image Based on Structural Similarity

The Point Spread Function (PSF) of human visual model and the texture characteristic of halftone image are first analyzed. Then this paper optimizes the quality assessment method of halftone image based on structural similarity by optimizing the weighted values of each subblock. Experiment result shows that the quality assessment method of halftone image based on structural similarity is more consistent with subjective assessment.
