Grey Comprehensive Assessment Apply in Synthetic Evaluation of Photographic Paper’s Ink Jet Printing Quality
Gray evaluation technology was applied to the synthetic evaluation of glossy inkjet paper’s printing quality. Systems methodology was helpful to get objective and accurate conclusion during the complex and multivariate system just like the appraisal of paper’s printing quality. Index value of printing properties such as color density, tone reproduction curve, color gamut, color difference, dot roundness and line roughness were analyzed on the basis of monolayer gray evaluation model and each paper’s dependent degree can be calculated. And according to the rank of dependent degree, integrated printing quality can be estimated accurately. Studies had shown that EPSON paper’s dependent degree was the maximum of all, so the comprehensive quality was the best. In the contrast, SIDIDE paper’s printing quality was the least desirable.
