Research Progress in Treatment of Image Disease
Photographs, photographic negative cine-films and other image data are all very important archives and the direct carriers of arts and valuable cultural relics. However, the information on these materials would be and will be destroyed, because of the storage environment and the nature of materials. Some diseases related to the fuzziness of black and white photographs, the mold of black and white negative, the scratches, the acetic acid syndrome of three cellulose acetate ester on cine-film and other diseases, and the results are very satisfactory. A optimal conditions for storage of cine-film was proposed, and a system for monitoring acetic acid in film warehouse was designed.
