Imaging Performance of the Thermal CTP Plate
This study built two kinds of positive thermal CTP systems which mainly consisted of resin, inhibitational resin, accelerational resin, infrared dyes and thermal acid generator and so on. Systematically investigated how different compositions of system and dry time effected on the imaging performance of system in the course of study and experiments. The results proved that infrared dyes influenced image performance of the imaging system significantly, and depending on increasing of infrared dyes content, the lowest exposure energy decreased first and then increased. Depending on increasing of inhibitational resin content, the lowest exposure energy increased gradually, and development latitude of imaging system declined. With the increasing of accelerational resin content, the lowest exposure energy decreased continuously. Depending on extending of dry time, the lowest exposure energy decreased first and remained the same in the end.
