Improving Efficiency in Processing Microfilm ImagesWith Photoshop Batch Processing
As China’s economy has been growing rapidly recent years, digitalization of micrographic imaging gaining its ground in some powerful libraries. The Microforms Center under the National Library of China has made years of efforts to explore this field. During the digitalization of micrographic imaging, fixing the scanned images is of critical importance. Therefore the Center has configured professional software. But for the libraries that have just begun such work, it remains difficult to configure professional software. In this case, the writers suggest that using Photoshop, a popular but powerful picture editing software, should be an easy and economic alternative.
