Research of Dot Percentage Detection Method based on Digital Image Processing
From the microscopic point of view, the print is composed of the color elements of different colors. The four-color print can be printed in 24 kinds of color sequences. Considering the impact of the color sequences, there are 65 kinds of color elements in the four-color print. We shoot the print with high-resolution microscope digital camera to obtain enlarged digital images. The color of each pixel can be classified as a certain color element. Using the pixels statistical quantity of every color element in each zone, we can calculate dot percentage and detect the color sequence of the print.
