Analysis of Printed Quality in Print on Demand Industry in Thailand
Digital printing is a printing technology that serves as on demand printing. Although it can produce publication as quick response, its quality still needs to be measured and proofed. This paper aims at analysis printed quality produced by the selected print on demand manufacturers in Thailand. An original file 36 page 4 color size A4 was generated according to ISO 15930-4:2003 (PDF/X-1a:2003). The printing material was gloss coated paper. The studied parameter was color gamut, image quality, text quality, and tone reproduction. The result was analyzed based on ISO 12647-2 and ISO 12647-8 (draft).
