Characteristic of a New Inhibitational /Accelerational Phenolic Resin Used to the Thermosensitive CTP Performance
A new phenolic etherified resin is used as inhibitational/accelerational compound, which is synthesized by a phenolic resin and vinylether. It is applied to the composition of thermal sensitive coating CTP, composed with photo-acid-generators, background dyes, binder resins, auxiliaries and solvents. The compositional chemistry and the imaging performance are studied. It is found that it could improve the thermal–sensitivity, developing effect, alkali resistance and anti-isopropanol ability of the thermal sensitive developing layer of CTP plates, when it is properly used in the thermosensitive composition.
