Numerical Simulation of Droplet Ejection of Piezoelectric Ink-jet Printing
The numerical simulation method is carried out to simulate the formation of water droplets from the nozzle exit in the thesis. Then four kinds of other liquids with different surface tension and viscosity are chosen as research objects to study the effect of the actual physical quantities such as surface tension and viscosity on the droplet ejection process. Numerical simulation is proved to be an excellent method to investigate the droplet’s formation and can approximately predict the quality of inkjet imaging.
