Investigation on Generating Technology of Ink Presetting Based on 1-bit Tiff Image
In order to probe into the information generating technology of ink presetting in digital printing workflow, experimental studies were carried out and a mathematical model was derived to get the dot coverage in each ink zone, which was pre-extracted from the basic source information of a 1-bit tiff image after routing information protocol post-process. A mathematical model based on the experimental data was established and functions of ink transfer curves were obtained, which predicted the information of ink key opening. Results revealed nonlinearity between the dot coverage and the ink key opening, and the value of ink key opening can be predicted with the derived mathematical model.
