Preparation and Application of Cu and Cu2O Nanoparticles as Stabilizer-Free Metal Nano-Ink for Printable Electronics

The laser-induced fragmentative decomposition of fine CuO powders in ketone solvent gives a highly productive pathway to stabilizer-free Cu and/or Cu2O nanoparticle solution as metal nano-inks for printable electronics applications. A low-temperature reduction treatment of the printed patterns is essential to make them as highly conductive as bulk copper film.
