The Research and Preparation of UV Curing Super Abrasion Resistant Optical Coatings
In this article, a new type super abrasion resistant polymer material for optical thin films protective coating has been prepared by UV curing, using special aliphatic urethane hexaacrylate and modified dipentaery-thritol hexaacrylate as film forming materials. The factors that influence the properties of the cured coating were investigated, which includes light-cured resin, functional monomer, photoinitiator, additive and radiation intensity, some laws were concluded from the experiments, which was analyzed briefly. The results showed that: Testing of the coatings abrasion resistance with 0000# steel wool (weight-bearing 1000g) over 100cycles, transmittance of 99%; The leading role on properties of coating was played by light-cured resin, functional monomer and radiation intensity, the best properties can be achieved if optimized the ratio of photoinitiator and additive.
