High-speed and High-quality Pizels Transformation Method for Binary Image Base on Projection

We proposed a pixel transformation method of image-processing for the binary image, which can be applied to resolution transformation processing and image-processing for size-change for facsimile newspapers image etc. This method can reduce image degradation by eliminating moire for pseudo-gray image, and further this is characterized by both high quality and high speed. We separated pixels of binary image into two pixel types by judging between border pixels and no-border ones. A high-quality and complicated low speed method and a high-speed and low-quality one were applied to the border pixels image field and the no-border pixels image field, respectively. This is realized by introducing a mask image, which represents the high-quality processing image field of the converted image and a simple processing based on the pixel coordinates.
