The Crosslinked Properties of Inorganic Ozide Photoreceptor and Its Xerographic Performance
The spectral sensitivity of inorganic oxide photoreceptor responds only to radiations below 450nm where inorganic oxide absorbs and the film of inorganic oxide photoreceptor is poor strength. This paper concentrates on the crosslinked properties and xerographic performance of inorganic oxide photoreceptor by doped with silane coupling agent and phthalocyanine pigments in the photoconductor layer. In order to gain even higher performance and surface strength of the inorganic oxide photoreceptor, a systematic investigated was carried out. Through cross-linking agent, cross-linking method, cross-linking conditions choice, the surface of photoreceptor formed netted structure by crosslink reaction and surface strength was improved obviously. When phthalocyanine pigments were doped in the layer of inorganic oxide photoreceptor, the spectral sensitivity was extended to radiations from 450nm up to near 800nm and sensitivity was higher. The film of inorganic oxide photoreceptor was porous and became highly hydrophilic after briefly treated with a chemical solution, indicating the possibility in CTP plate application.
