SELF-ASSEMBLED HPA/MESO-OXIDE AS INORGANIC ELECTROLYTE FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE PEM FUEL CELL
An inorganic electrolyte membrane based on self-assembled HPA/meso-oxide is developed to meet the requirement of high temperature PEM fuel cell operation. The HPA molecules are distributed uniformly in the two-dimensional ordered structure, acted as the proton conductive sites to improve the conductivity both at high temperature and low temperature. The proton conductivity of the HPW/meso-silica electrolyte membranes at 100~125 ℃ reached to 0.07~0.08 Scm-1 without humidifying, which is higher than the Nafion sulfonic membrane at the same condition.
