STUDY ON CONDUCTIVITY OF POLYETHYLENE OXIDE /GEOPOLYMER COMPOSITES
In this work, we prepared the geopolymer composites with metakaolin, sodium silicate, polyethylene oxide (PEO) as raw materials. The effect of different PEO content, different molecular weight and water content on conductivity of composites was studied. The results indicated that the addition of PEO could greatly improve the conductivity of geopolymer composites that had a maximum value at room temperature when PEO content is about 5%. With the water content increment, the conductivity of geopolymer composites was improved. In addition, the flexural strength of geopolymer composites could be improved with the increment of PEO content.
