THE EFFECT OF SINTERING TEMPERATURE ON THE 8YSZ PREPARED BY SPARK PLASMA SINTERING
In this study, 8mol% Yttria stabilized zirconia (8YSZ) was as materials, Spark-plasma sintering (SPS) system was performed from 1050 to ℃ 1350 with step ℃ of 50 under 50MP pressure on the sample during the sintering progress ℃ and the hold time was 3min. The grain size (<100nm) of samples was calculated by XRD spectrum used scheerer formula. The sample was sintered by SPS can get smaller grain size (<100nm) and greater density (>97%) when the sintering temperature between 1200℃ and 1250. The ionic conductivity of the electrolytes was evaluated by AC impedance ℃ spectra and it is increased with the growth of sintering temperature. The sample sintering at 1050 h ℃ as the lowest ionic conductivity.
