CO OXIDATION AND METHANE REFORMING USING MESOPOROUS PEONY-LIKE CERIA CATALYSTS
Achieving high conversion ratio and selectivity in CO oxidation and CH4 reforming reaction below 600 ℃ is an essential issue for developing intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cell. Here, peony-like nanostructured CeO2 based materials with open mesoporous structure and high BET surface area have been synthesized by hydrothermal methods.Catalytic behaviors of CO oxidation and CH4 partial oxidation reforming at RT-600 ℃ for unloaded, Cu, Ni, Ag, Mn loaded peony-like CeO2 materials in addition to their stability and coking issue have been investigated.
