ELECTROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES AND INTERFACIAL REACTIONS OF LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4-冊NANORODS

Well-crystallized LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4-δ nanorods with diameter of 50 nm and length of 500 nm were synthesized by a hydrothermal-solid state reaction. The LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4-δ electrode shows about 120 mAh/g discharge capacity between 3.5 and 4.9 V at a current density of 30mA/g after 50 cycles, and 90mAh/g at a current density of 150mA/g. The solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) film between the cathode and the electrolyte was observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
