CHARACTERIZATION OF NICKEL-BASED ANODE PREPARED BY TAPE CASTING AND LAMINATION
NiO/YSZ (6:4 wt.%) and NiO/SDC (6:4 wt.%) anodes for SOFCs were prepared by tape casting at room temperature, 24-sheets-laminating at 85 for 30 min ℃ and under 50 MPa, and sintering at 1400 for 2 h ℃. NiO/YSZ-supported SDC half cell was fabricated at the same condition other that laminating was by 24 sheets of anode tapes plus 1 sheet of SDC electrolyte tape. TG/DTA results showed exothermic peaks appeared at 1446 and 1449℃ in anodes and no exothermic peaks appeared in SDC above 1400, which indicated that ℃ some compounds might produce in NiO/SDC and NiO/YSZ. The flexural strength of NiO/YSZ and NiO/SDC was 165.6 and 65.6 MPa, respectively. SEM results showed a good microstructure of NiO/YSZ-supported SDC half cell.
