EFFECT OF CARBON AMOUNT ON THE PROPERTY OF SOL-GEL SYNTHESIZED LiMnPO4/C
LiMnPO4/C composite cathode materials had been synthesized by sol-gel method with following heat-treatment under air. The crystal structures and morphologies of these materials were investigated by XRD and ESEM. The electrochemical performances were measured by galvanostatic charge-discharge tests. The effect of carbon content on the crystal structure, morphology and electrochemical performance of LiMnPO4 were discussed in detail. The galvanostatic charge-discharge results showed that the electrochemical performance of LiMnPO4/C was improved by elevating carbon amount to a certain degree, the sample with initial conductive carbon content of 10wt% showed the best performance, when tested at 0.02 C rate between 2.8 V-4.4 V, its initial discharge capacity reached 121.6 mAh/g、73.1 mAh/g and 75.6 mAh/g for the sample sintered at 400,500 and 600 respectively.
