STRUCTURAL, THERMAL AND ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF La0.8Sr0.2Co1-XCrXO3

This work presents crystal structure, thermal expansion, and electrical conductivity of compositions in the system La0.8Sr0.2Cr1-xCoxO3-δ (0≤x≤0.5). All the compositions show perovskite structure. The thermal expansion coefficient increased with Co content. However, the effects of Co substitution for Cr ions on the sinterability and the electrical conductivity of the products are more complicated. The linear conductivity behavior of the system is attributed to the small polaron conductivity mechanism.
