SYNTHESIS AND CONDUCTIVITY ANALYSIS OF CERIUM FLUORIDE NANOPARTICLES

Cerium Fluoride nanoparticles have been prepared by direct precipitation method from aqueous solution. The structural and morphology of the nanoparticles prepared have been studied using XRD and TEM. The average particle size has been found to be 19 nm from the XRD spectra. Ac impedance spectroscopy has been used to study the ion conduction and conductivity of the prepared nanoparticles. The conductivity value is found to be in the order of 10-6 Scm-1.
