STRUCTURE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL BEHAVIORS ON NANOCOMPOSITES OF TiXV3-XO7H2O NANOWIRES AND MWNTS

TixV3-xO7·H2O nanowires and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) nanocomposites were fabricated by twice hydrothermal synthesis techniques. The nanocomposites were characterized in terms of surface morphology and structure by FESEM, TEM, XRD, respectively. The electrochemical behaviors of the nanocomposites were investigated by galvanostatic charge-discharge test and impedance spectroscopy. The results showed that TixV3-xO7·H2O/MWNTs nanocomposite had a high capacity characteristic, which was 382 mAh/g in the first discharge process.
