CURRENT RESEARCH STATUS OF SICCAS ON SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELLS

摘要：

Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) supported with Ni-YSZ anode were fabricated and measured at 750℃. Both planar and tubular types show promising power density and acceptable stability. Planar type stacks with good thermal cycling stability have been developed. In the field of fundamental research, new materials for both cathode and anode were developed for reducing the operating temperature and using hydrocarbon fuels such as ethanol and H2-CO syngas; coating layers developed for alloy separator protection showed good stability. A planar type short stack has run for 1300 h with degradation rate less than 3%/1000h.
