EFFECT OF FINE YSZ IN ANODE FUNCTIONAL LAYER FOR SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL PREPARED BY TAPE CASTING
Effects of fine YSZ added to the NiO-YSZ anode functional layer prepared by tape casting were studied. The weight ration of NiO to YSZ was fixed to 56:44 in the anode functional layer, while the 400 mesh screen fine YSZ were added toe anode functional layer. The results showed that the addition of 20% fine YSZ of the total YSZ amount of YSZ content in anode functional layer not only increased its maximum power density, but improve its electrical performance stability. The maximum power density after holding at hydrogen atmosphere for 8h improved from 92.56 mW.cm-2 of without fine YSZ to 176.78mW.cm-2 of 20% fine YSZ.
